When I shoot corporate photography sessions I like to have close communication with the client and try to clearly understand what’s in his mind. Take a look at the references he has seen and what are his thoughts on communicating about his offices and personnel. What media will be used and how he sees himself and his company. I use to visit their offices previously and to get a hint of some shooting angles and to be sure the job can be done under the conditions of the space and budget.
Working with the people of Gigigo was easy going, they are clever on what they are as a company, they know why do you have to hire a pro photographer to do this job and are keen to cooperate and leave behind scenic fear and sense of ridiculousness. So once they got used to me I just had to hang around and shoot in the proper moment. The result is what you see.
